Simple, beautiful, effective.
A powerful story told in a few words with beautiful illustrations. I wish I had a hard copy of this book so I could truly appreciate it's beauty.

I was just curious to know what the story might have been, and the preview wouldn't show me, so I just borrowed it from my online library.
It's sweet, and although the drawings are very simplictic with hardly any writing, I could see it carried a deeper message of children outgrowing the parents in terms of experience with the world and literally, and parents beginning to become smaller in a way of showing getting older, weaker and needing more support from the child. The child on the last page, alone is quite sad though, more sad than I thought it would be.
Nothing special to me though, and the words and drawings didn't hit me anywhere particular. Just curiosity being sought. And sought it was!

I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This was probably one of the weirdest books I've ever read. I like the fact that it cycles through birth to adulthood and the moral of the story is that your parents are always with you even when they're gone. The illustrations were unique and simple, but I felt the words were somewhat lacking and didn't go anywhere.
