I honestly didn't think I'd think too much of this book but the story was really good, I loved the back and forth between the characters and the fact that Oedipus wasn't completely unwilling to listen to the truth in the end once more evidence came to light. I do feel sorry for him, he tried to do the right thing and do everything to not end up falling victim to his fate and yet, the harder he tried to stop it, the further he fell into that fate.
It was a great story, obviously inspiring modern drama. It was written in a way you could tell how everyone was feeling and the different times each character understood what was happening and what had happened with Oedipus. It was great.
