Usually I really like the Joanna Brady ones, but I couldn't even finish this one....I just didn't care! Maybe because half of it was Beaumont? BUt, I haven't liked her last couple.....

For J.P. Beaumont's second crossover with Joanna Brady, things could have gone a lot smoother. One would think that it should be fairly easy to have two law enforcement entities come together in a single novel, but based on this novel, it must be incredibly difficult since they hardly cross paths in this book, transforming it from one of a single solid mystery into two not as well written ones wedged together.

I love how Ms Jance brought JP & Joanna together again!

The switches from on character to the other are abrupt, seem to lose the flow, while it also left some loose ends.

This book seemed all over the place for J.A. Jance....it is one of the JoAnn Brady/J.P. Beaumont crossover books. Beyond that, just a blah ending. I've read better from Jance.

I did enjoy this book as I always have with J.A. Jance books, but it was a bit odd as they switched back and forth between Seattle and Arizona with the two characters (JP & Brady). Can't say I would enjoy reading more books with that style, but still enjoyed the mystery.
