Awesome summary of the Patriots dynasty from the year 2000 until 2016. Holley digs deep into the history of the Patriots and scores interviews with so many of the players, past and present. Even sweeter that I read this a few days before their Super Bowl LI win!

Given the title, it should not be surprising that this book is really a paean to the Patriots' long-time coach and his dutiful quarterback. Focusing mostly on the Superbowl and League champion years the two men have shared, the book also deals with the scandals surrounding the team, notably Deflategate, and the author defends his subjects with no pretense of impartiality.
The writing itself is rather choppy and lacks the sort of narrative flow I admire in good non-fiction. It's not unreadable though and the tale is interesting enough to sustain the attention of any NFL afficianado.

A really fascinating insight into Tom Brady & Bill Belichick- the super bowls the scandals. This book has really increased my knowledge of NFL ahead of the new season.

If there was a team the Patriots and their fans hated more than the Jets, it was the Colts. And if there was anything that annoyed a Patriots fan as much as a reference to Spygate, it was the notion that Manning was better than Brady.
