A very easy read YA book.  Very heavy on the Y.  Felt like i was reading about 15yr olds not 19.

This was a fun and interesting read. I liked that Max was comfortable with the fact the she was non-magical despite Magical family like her Grandmother. We meet her Aunt Erin as well when trouble hits home again!

Max ends up at the Hybrid Academy where her Aunt Erin attended to learn more about her dual nature. She also hope's to learn magic!

How will this all end up, read it and see!

Too rushed, everything happened too fast, next 3 months pass by without much explaining, too many point of views it switches from first, to second to third to first again its weird

I love Max Henry and Kiera. They are a great set of characters. I can't wait to see if Max finds her Grandmother

A lot of potential

Good start to a new series. It was a quick easy read. Drew you in from page one. So far I think year one is suitable for YA. Look forward to seeing this group develope.
