I was right there with it until the middle.....was really enjoying the aging escort and the designer...then it just stopped working in the middle.

I lost the thread a while before a character turned into a stalker and had his actions defended by his friends.

I don't need an explanation for his behaviour and why it's actually like super romantic or something.

I don't like the character enough ro give him the benefit of the doubt.

I found zero chemistry between the two main characters. Their relationship geowth is based on the sex being good, no meaningful moments or getting to know one another or anything.

I'm salty about this book, and very much done with it.

There aren't many books which make me feel like the author is describing the way of life in a glamorous industry, in this case high fashion. And not just envying. This is one of those descriptive-not-envious books.
