I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
As with all the books in the companion series, The Feral Breed Brotherhood, I loved this book. Ms Leigh has a way of making her shifters more real, of showing the connection between their wolf instincts and their human sides. I've yet to read a book by her that I didn't enjoy. Even in this shorter book, that didn't have the mystery and intrigue that the Feral Breed books have, she still made every page, every word count.
I'd recommend this book to any fan of shifter books.

a 'book' - no its more a novella. And it's pretty much what a novel of a series would be condensed into a few pages.
shifter male needs mate.....female is in another pack with a cruel alpha.
eyes meet across the crowded room.
The shifter is an Alpha knows it's his mate immediately and so does she.
A few ducking and Diving to get to the bedroom to claim each other before females Alpha can catch them.....
all live happily ever after.....I assume!!!
short. to the point. you don't have a chance to get to know the characters- altho Killian seemed like he would be someone to develop.
If you can get this on a free of charge promo I would get it, but honestly I wouldn't buy it. sorry Ms Leigh!

Genres: Adult Paranormal Romance.

It was somewhat interesting. Not enough world build nor character build. The flow of the story is very choppy. There are a couple of typo/editing errors. I also had a few issues with so called rules that Lyra's alpha was allowed to enforce.
The best part about this story is Killian, his pack and his sister.
It is a short read and I kind of liked it.
I don't know if I liked it enough to read any other stories in this series.
I will have to mull that over.
