Yes it was cute but it wasn't great. Seems like the same old poor helpless vampire girl. *sigh*

I thought the book was ok. I have to agree with other reviewers that I thought this book could fall under Teen Fiction rather that Paranormal Romance. (Especially concidering the content of other Teen Fiction - This was pretty tame).

I can't decide if I like the main character or not. Usually after book two I have a bead on that. So that is unusual for me. Maybe when I read the third book I will decide.

Another cute read in the Immortality Bites series. I still can't get used to how quickly things happen and tempers are smoothed over in romance novels, but that aside, these are fun books.

This was a humorous follow-up to the first book in this series. The heroine, Sarah, makes some dumb choices but it's meant to be comedic so I can make allowances. And, hey, it looks like that wannabe love triangle is definitely settled. Again.

Good sequel, easy to read and amusing in places, could have done with a little more Thierry/Sarah interaction but I liked George taking a bigger role and Sarah is less annoying this time round which is always a benefit.

Interested in seeing what the next book is like

unfortunately I cannot include Fanged & Fabulous as the best book to have started the new year in, don't get me wrong isn't wasn't that bad but comparing the first and second book it had what most books had... the second book slump but alas Thierry did kinda make up for it

I'm hoping the third book kinda picks up.

I really can't say why I liked this one more than the first, not that the first was bad (far from it, loved it!), it's just that this one made me laugh so much more (and usually, when I'm reading something really good, I ignore all bodily functions). It's funnier than the first (I didn't think that could be possible), infinitely sweeter and, still, incredibly surprising! Just when you think you who know the culprit is or have your suspicions firmly in place, wham! Honestly? Loved it :-)

Some important notes that bear mentioning: first, reviews are highly subjective, including mine. My opinion is meant to give an overview of what I saw/felt when I read it (and how it may or may not have made my brain explode). What I see might not be what you see, and what I like (or don't) might not be what you enjoy, which is just fine. My advice to anyone looking into a book? Read the premise, and if it interests you enough, give it a chance and form your own opinion.

Sarah Dearly's got problems - not only is she trying to adjust to being a vampire, all types of people believe that she is the "Slayer of Slayers" and vamps and people alike want her dead. Fun story, a few little twists, happily ever after of course (at least until the next book). 080507
