Didn’t like past and present switching point of views.

A retelling of my favourite fairy tale. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The added Belle’s mum content was enjoyable but aside from that, it was a snooze.

Very dark in all the best ways. Takes the traditional story and flips it on its head and it is so well done. My favorite of the twisted tales series I have read so far!

Not as good as I hoped it would be. I liked the twist added to the classic story, but it too a really long time to hold and get interesting. Then it just ended. I didn’t feel like it had much of a resolution and it seemed like the author didn’t really know how to create an ending that would be different from the classic story, so instead, she just ended it.

Okay, I wasn’t a HUGE fan of the fact he’s still a beast at the end and that we have to imagine what happens after the end, but holy crap I was like entranced in the book?? It was strangely engaging and I loved it
