How can a book be shalow yet good? Here we have an example. The romance build is meh but the characters and world build is good 😊 I alrealdy love these boys...

Amazing beginning of a new favorite series

I can already tell this series will be a re-read favorite of mine. I seem to have a permanent smile on my face after reading of Simon and Galen.

This was a fantastic intro to the Sons of the Fallen series. I loved all the "brothers". Simon was a sweetie pie. Him and Galen were perfect. I cannot believe I waited so long to read this series smh.

Book 2 is gonna be read probably sometime this week or next.

Very mediocre, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it. I liked the characters enough that I’m going to pickup the second one and give it a go. However - this book felt very… I don’t know, it was lacking. The world building was sloppy, the plot was pretty shallow, and the writing style was fair. I’m not a creative person, but I was consistently thinking of all the ways that XYZ things could have been stronger. I understand that in fantasy the first book is often weak because it’s dedicated to introductions and building, so we’ll see how the next one goes.

This is Simon and Galen. Pretty low relationship angst considering. Can't wait to read about Castor in the next book. I really liked how they fit together personality wise, Galen was just so smitten! It was cute for this half angel to be so giddy.
