This was fantastic.
It has everything I love in my urban fantasies, and then some: romance and steam, amazingly lovable main characters and a found family of side characters that left me laughing and/or sobbing on more than one occasion, action and mystery, humour and high stakes. I absolutely adored "Galen"!

I was a bit worried about starting this series because it seemed like a lot of readers had a lot of different opinions on everything, and I wasn't sure which side of the track I was going to fall on. I should have trusted the positive reviews sooner because (at least for now) this series was kind of made for me.
Also, found family IS my supreme weakness and I cannot wait to see more of these characters together, fighting and struggling, loving and caring about each other, and I cannot wait to see the other brothers fall helplessly in love like Galen. I also cannot wait to see how the other different deadly sins will manifest in the rest of the brothers: Galen struggled so much with his inner Wrath, so I'm beyond curious to see what will happen with the rest of the brothers and how their "curse" affects them (I'm especially, and unsurprisingly, curious about Daman and Gray).

I absolutely adored both Galen and Simon. Individually they're so different from each other, but they work together so perfectly. I loved their romance, and I loved how helplessly devoted Galen was to Simon, and vice versa.

I'm beyond excited to start book two!
