It has it's moments, but the balance of this autobiography seems way off. I am assuming Cleese plans to, or perhaps already has, do a follow up book to talk about the Python year because Python gets short shrift here. We go from the formation of the group to a reunion tour decades later in a few pages. That will surely disappoint a majority of the people reading this book. Still, a lot of good insight into Cleese's early years leading up to Python.

Wasn’t as funny as Eric Idle’s Sort of Biography.

Den første selvbiografi jeg har læst hvor den første del om barn- og ungdommen rent faktisk er mere underholdende end delen om det voksne liv.

Inspiring and funny. Sadly, it stopped where Monty Python began.

A brilliant, thoughtful, and funny autobiography that is a careful look at what comedy is.
