I am seriously dating myself here but this was like an old Get Smart episode with Max being foiled by the villains. Very silly. Starts out okay with a plausible story about Justin who has been receiving letters from a secret admirer. Then we are dragged into a foolish secondary plot focused on bogus FBI agents, a corrupt colonel and a camera. Plus, book 1 ends abruptly so you have to read book 2, which is equally painful, in order for the story to make sense. Justin's friend Nebraska is a hoot but a little over the top. Interesting writing style. If only it hadn't decended into sillyville.
