eh. fuck it. DNF after ~75 pages, just not in the mood for poetry, and if by now my interest is not even slightly piqued, i doubt i'll hit gold and discover a new fave. maybe some other time cummings.

Worth it for the lines "I'll live my life if it kills me" and "Listen, you morons great and small"

Listen, I have absolutely no idea what the bulk of what I just read was. The book was rough (on me/for me). I understood very little of this book, and yet...I favorited so many pages.

Some of these are utterly brilliant.
Others, not so much (or maybe they just aren't for me.) From an academic standpoint, as well as for hardcore Cummings fans, this is a great read, as it tracks different phases of his life through his poetry. But in all honesty, some of these were probably better left unpublished.

love's absence is illusion,alias time
