All good, but the pieces that had me reaching for my highlighter and making notes so I could find the best bits again were:

Ruth Clare, ‘Seen but not heard’;
Melissa Deitz, ‘Vanishing Point’.
Lots of violence and death, I’m noticing now, but fascinating, intense, beautifully written violence and death from which I felt I learned something.
