Picked this up during the book fair at one of my schools. Knew nothing about it, but started reading it and was hooked. It's very clever; little kids won't truly "get" some of the humor, but it's funny enough for all ages. Kids will be able to see themselves in Bailey, and I could see extending this story into several "What would Bailey do?" scenarios.

We found the books about Bailey at our local library and had to get them. They had two of them there (Bailey and Bailey at the Museum). My son was immediately excited for us to get home and read them, under one condition, that I read it to his 10 year old best friend, a Boxer, named Bailey. We loved them and the stories sounded just like s few things that our little Bailey would do. Sadly a few weeks ago our Bailey had to be put to sleep and I thought that I would have to hide these books for awhile, yet my son made me read them to him more. They have helped him to get past and not be so sad about our Bailey not being here for story time anymore!

Loved the little details in this story! From Bailey's reading selections, to his thought process for wardrobe selection, every page had morsels of adorable!

My toddler really likes this book, and I can't quite understand why. This is the story of Bailey, a dog who goes to school. He misses the bus in the morning, doesn't have his homework because he ate it, digs in the trash, etc. We'll keep reading it since my toddler likes it, but I could do without.
