DNF @ 33% - I tried really hard to like this one. I mean, who wouldn't like a western set in a fantasy version of ancient Egypt? But, try as I might, I just can't get attached to the characters. That might just have to do with the fact that this novella comes in at a slim 198 pages and I've already met three main characters and the author is trying to give them equal screen time, so to speak. The only one of them I'm truly interested in is Zezago and he's the villain! (This isn't off brand for me, but I'd like to at least be interested in the hero.) Between that and some truly grating repetitive language, this one was a DNF for me.
