I think this was a story that must have been difficult to tell, given how many ways it could have gone, so I appreciate the authors persistence In seeing it through.
Book 2 did a good job of tying up the story in a satisfying way. Did feel a little bit rushed (one of the few stories I feel should have been longer), but it’s still a plot worth diving into - a page turner, if you will.
The only thing that bothered me was the dialogue, which was still so annoying that I found myself skipping through large sections just to avoid it.
Overall 4 stars for me. Will keep an eye out for additional science fiction from this author.
