This book would be great to gift a Black girl in Middle school or High school. This book teaches about the importance of affirmations and guide to build self love and self confidence. There are quotes from famous Black women throughout the book.

The tone of this book is definitely for a younger audience. I was gifted this book from my sister since my YouTube channel is called Emmarae Empowered - which she came up with! <3

I’m glad I read this book. Some of the chapters forced me to look at my past and how it has affected me.  It was a quick read and I plan on revisiting certain chapters again.
