One of the most amazing books I've had the privilege to read. The ability to read is something we all take for granted and amazing works like this put it into perspective. It was a strange, provocative read, but it had something more that made me keep reading. It was thorught provoking and a more challenging read. So thankful to have delved into the lives of Catherine and Heathcliff. And even though they were absolutely mad, they were in love and that's all anyone can ever ask for - deep, heartwrenching, sacrificing, crazy love. Two thumbs up Emily Bronte. Who gives a damn what everyone says about this crazy book, you have millions that will forever be in your debt for this life changing read.

One of the classics that was actually an enjoyable read. I'll make it simple:

Pros:
- The storytelling is awesome, with the unrealiable narrator making things even more interesting.
- The more-than-love story!! How can I explain that this is a romance but the feelings between the characters are way more complex than just any romance.
- Time! The to and fro of past and present really adds a layer of intrigue.
- Almost no "uncessary classic book" descriptions.

Cons:
- The last fifty pages or so weren't as inmersive as the first (very personal opinion).
- They're all assholes (you'll like them anyway, but still).
- I couldn't understand much of Joseph's dialogue (at least I had the notes).

Overall, I'm so glad I did read this one!
