This book kept my heart pumping. I sat down one evening and read this book from cover to cover, such a great chilling fast paced read. I am and will forever be a vampire fanatic and this delivered for me.
This gothic horror was just what I needed! The storyline drew me in and kept me curious. The writing style was perfect and the characters were well written!!! This is absolutely going on my shelf of spooks once released and I would recommend this book to those who love a vampire horror creepy read.

Unfortunately, this did not live up to my expectations. I loved the Spite House, but this book felt so different.
There is nothing that I would say was wrong with this book, it just wasn't for me.
I didn't expect this book to feel so different from his previous book. If I didn't know better, I'd never have guessed it was the same author.
Just my personal opinion and feelings. Would still recommend for those interested in checking out this story.

I found myself wanting more from this novel. I truly enjoyed the prose but the story just seemed to get lost and so much seemed to happen so quickly I would get lost while reading.
