Definitely an exciting and action packed arc. Love the world building of the Soul Society and the newly ( yeah) introduced characters

This whole series so far is just misogynistic, homophobic and transphobic. I started this series thinking it would be fun adventures and for the first few volumes it was what I wanted, but I am very hesitant to continue, because reading this as a queer woman is just dreadful.

this volume was a mixed bag for me. on the one hand, a lot of things happened, but on the other, not much happened. and with ichigo and the others in the soul society, of course, that means that we are introduced to many new characters, some of them memorable because of their, uh, transportation choices, and others that maybe only showed up for a few panels or pages. that said, we did get to meet kukaku and she is THE BEST! also, this leads me to some QUESTIONS i cannot say~
