Strayed has a knack for putting into words the things the rest of us feel, but have no words of our own to express. This short book is filled with her insights into this life that we are all getting through in our own way. This would make a great gift for a graduation present.

This book is great for the quote-loving, inspiration-seeking among us. It is a short book with little text, but a powerful punch. I loved it and I am planning to give copies to friends because the quotes feel like things that will be references for those less-than-perfect moments we all have and need to work through.

No, there is nothing new here. Yes, it's just a book of curated quotes. But they are Cheryl Strayed's quotes and I not only loved reading this, but I have also bought several copies to give as gifts. These are perfect for reading friends and non-reading friends.

I read this right before hiking half dome and gave me the right mindset and inspiration. I was hoping for a little more context but the quotes are thought provoking.
