I'm definitely on a binge with this series now that I have access to it. I thought I could stretch it out, but there's just no way. I like having all the ideas fresh in my mind, since there are many. The final chapters in this volume pack one of the biggest emotional wallops of the story so far and leave things on a dreamy note. I love how the series can move from action to sci-fi to drama to comedy to thriller so seamlessly, and this volume is split between a nostalgic, painful reflection on the past, a strangely beautiful yet unsettling vision of the future of humanity, and the white-knuckle evasion of its steady, often violent progression. Only five volumes left? Geez.
