I enjoyed hearing Mindy's thoughts and commentary on religion, culture and motherhood.

How could the shortest of short stories have me tearing up at the end? Mindy is hilarious and deep at the same time. I could read a million books by her and never get tired of it—one of the BIG reasons why I watch The Office over and over again.

"Kind of Hindu" likely sums up the way many different groups of people feel about their religions -- yes, I'm "kind" of something, but I'm definitely not an "expert", although I do want to make sure I pass some of my "kind of" knowledge down to the next generation. In some circles, there may be shame in this. However, Mindy Kaling is debunking this by saying it is actually okay to be "kind of Hindu" and learn and grow as you go. She's funny, she tells a good story, and it is one that I think everyone can relate to in some way. I'm definitely enjoying this short story collection from Mindy.

I love her stories so much! They're so heartwarming and funny. I never get tired of learning a little bit more about Mindy, her heritage, her children, and her career! She just makes me want to be her BFF!

Books I've read and provided detailed reviews over the years but all data is lost after accidental deletion and GD's refusal to restore it back.
