The return of Hastings! I think I like him more each time he appears because he's been gone so long...he's better in small doses haha.

The mystery here was good, Poirot was in top form, and the amount of times Hastings was writing dialogue for a dog was cracking me up lol. A classic Poirot story!

Christie’s books have become an easy read when I need something I know I will enjoy but that will not cause a huge emotional impact. This is the first that I read that I figured out who had done it and the back story before it transpired.
