I really enjoyed this right up to the end.

Another great novel from the renowned Agatha Christie. This mystery really kept me on my toes, and it was so fun to see Poirot sleuth around under false pretenses - Hastings being so wound up by it made it such a fun addition. Ending was surprising but still satisfying.
The middle section was very repetitive, felt like I had to push through to get to the end, however, I did like the ending.

The book was sometimes hard to follow, however I still enjoyed it. My review is probably not fully subjective as I’m a huge fan of Christie’s work and Hercules Poirot.
I would recommend this to someone who wants to read their first Agatha Christie novel. Someone who has already read some of her work will enjoy this book more than a new reader.

This was a very fun read. I will admit, I was able to predict the killer pretty early on, but there were a couple twists and turns that I was not expecting so I appreciated that.
This heavily revolves around family drama and everyone is suspicious. I loved delving into the different relationships between all of the members of this family, as well as the fact that it's a small town so everybody knows everybody's business.

In this work Poirot has to solve a mystery that has taken place two months prior when he receives a letter from a would be client that becomes misplaced. Not to be deterred our fine investigator is on the case and it's not clear who is guilty. Very entertaining. Alternate title: Dumb Witness
