Oh boy, what to say about this book? I liked it, definitely. I read it because of all the hype surrounding this book, and from a psychological standpoint, I feel like it didn't really hit me like I had expected. I didn't feel like I could fully relate to the characters, and maybe I missed something that was going on.

This story shows the quick mental descent of Eleanor as she spends time in Hill House

Loved the way the story was being told. Very suspenseful, couldn't put it down. But the ending... It would be a 5 star book if it wasn't for that.

I liked this book it’s like a classic gothic horror. I read the book because of the show I love that show. But it’s beautifully written and it’s fun to see where the show came from even if they adapted it quite a bit
