Perfect book for all Deadpool and monster fans. I could barely keep up with all the random insanity going on, but it wasn't all complete absurdity. Deadpool showed a human side, though I have to say that nothing quite beats the minotaur/Deadpool chase. Priceless!

I finally found a Deadpool-centered book that I actually liked! After years of developing the theory that, like Wolverine, Deadpool is only interesting when off-setting a team, I had lost interest in reading his solo title. Then I read Sam Quixote's glowing review of this volume and saw the Deadpool movie in a short period of time. For my monthly comics discussion meetup, I suggested doing some trades related to big nerdy flicks that just came out, and remembered the title of this one.

I won't bother with synopsis because it hardly matters. I did enjoy seeing Deadpool develop a romance while in the crosshairs of the monster kingdom. I'll probably forget everything about this book in the next week or two, but it gave me a good, funny feeling while I read it.

it's hard to tell how much I like the story yet, but I'm hopeful. Deadpool and vampires in England seem interesting enough.

I've fucked around with Deadpool comics on and off, and for the most part, it's one of those rare exceptions where I'm like, Dude, the movie is better than the book.

I think people like the idea of Deadpool, and he's a fun character to dress up as at a con. But he's sort of like Harley Quinn that way: super popular, yet only has a handful of good comics to his name.

This is one of the good 'uns. You don't have to know much about Deadpool to read it (if you've seen the movie, you're good), it's pretty wacky, it doesn't let a story get in the way of jokes, and it's fun throughout. There's no point where Deadpool is like, "Okay, let me load up rubber bullets and get all serious about a family relationship or something."

Definitely my first and most recommended Deadpool book to date.

The Natalie Wood reference and the teasing of Twilight is what made me like this comic. The jokes weren't corny and over the top. Also, it has vampires so that's a plus. I will be continuing this series for sure!
