I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review
Richard is a man in his 60's whose partner passed away 10 years prior. He is kind of floating through his life still grieving and not having expectations of more love to come. Brian appears younger man who asks for his help, but he is actually a magical creature. When Brian uses magic to make Richard appear to be his younger self, Richard agrees to help Brian with saving a trapped friend and the magical world. With little time to come up with a plan, what Richard does was brilliant, clever, and funny. I enjoyed reading through this.
The story was short and sweet and cute. I didn't fully grasp a connection between Richard and Brian that would lead me to believe in a forever HEA, but there was enough for me to believe in an HFN. A little more character/couple development would have been nice for me.
