it wasn’t horrible but i hated the mc and why did i hate her bsf too like she was so annoying. only read this cause it connects to the falls boys and it did provide more context ig but not sure if it was worth it

Jared bullies Tate because he saw her with their parents having a happy family moment without him. Right after he came back from having to run away from his abusive stepfather.
I think the author can go about this a better way, feeding us morcels, glimpses of Jared's reasons. Readers have figured out that his stepdad abused him right after Tate noticed his scar. But everything leading up to the big reveal falls extremely extremely flat. There's no emotional tension, it doesn't feel heartfelt.
There could've been more scenes to build up the emotions. It just feels shallow and flat.
Yes, it was traumatic. But Jared didn't grovel for forgiveness, Tate was too quick to forgive him. She didn't even think about it. She just forgave him, just like that.

(Las dos estrellas por que es adictivo hasta ahí llega lo bueno que tiene el libro)
¿Como digo que cada conflicto que sucedia en el libro se solucionaba y se justificaba de la peor maneta posible? Fue muy wattpad en 2018.
Ambos nesesitan un psicólogo por la forma en la que piensan que se puede solucionar los problemas y las formas de reacciónar ante ellos.
Amo a la autora escribió uno de mis libros favoritos pero este...no es el mejor de sus libros.
