despite the fact that this was really hard to read, i actually enjoyed this book the most out of this series. jesse's journey really made the whole novel, and it was really great to watch her come into herself and take control of her life.
I will say one thing: trigger warnings, anyone? this book needs MULTIPLE!! it was literally like a slap in the face, and by chapter four i was debating even continuing because of how graphic the descriptions were. so, fair warning to everyone, there is a MAJOR tw for sexual assault and pedophilia. and honestly, don't take this lightly and do your research before hand-- as i should have.

ok this was kinda good also kinda crazy like so much happened in this story that i was not prepared for. big tw for rape and pedophilia!! the story was good and i did enjoy the characters and the ending was good. it went a lot darker than i expected esp w stuff we learn when reading it had me shook and i had to take lots of breaks. this took me a while to get through cause of that but i do think it was a good book. the romance was proper n this book prob has the best smut scenes in the series so far tbh. i really did like both of the main characters in this book neither of them ever annoyed me and that’s rare in this series. honestly the only reason it’s not getting rated higher is j cause i wasnt able to fully immerse myself into this story and just not enjoy it like i enjoy books i give higher ratings too. this was def the second best book in the series tho!! a solid 3.5/5 for me
