I really want to protect El and Vee at all costs. They also should really get out of this town. Learned a lot in this issue. Only one more left!

Before diving into the story, the cover for this issue is simultaneously beautiful and horrifying. I'm a big fan.

The witch goes up to the home on top of the mountain with the Foreman. He tries to get her to drink the water, which erases memories, but she screams for help, leading to his arrest and demise. She stays at the home to help her cope with this traumatic experience, and she meets the witch Circe, who teaches her witchy ways to the young girl.

She goes home and doesn't age. Eventually, Circe is released, and she stays with the young witch and her mother. And they work on a counterspell of sorts for the water's memory effects. She tries and it, and she remembers. Unfortunately, she remembers that the Foreman had convinced her to go to the mountain several times, and she drank the water every time except the last. The horrors she experienced go unsaid. The men murder Circe for her findings.

Several men in the town begin taking advantage of the waters' powers over women. The little witch stands up to them and casts a spell, but it goes wrong. The men become skinless people that haunt the town. And the women who were affected, become pieces of nature with human aspects still inside of them, such as the antlered person. She gives them the remains of the cure against the water.

Lastly, the girls go to Vee's house, where they learn that Jessica called and she is hanging out with a bunch of guys. Vee and El take off to try to rescue her, but will they make it in time? #5 is my favourite issue so far. I hope the ending is good!
