Walsh did a good working "chasing" Armstrong when Lance was apparently a succesful and historic champion in the Tour de France. Walsh did not believe him, investigated him and the many suspicions around him. Later Armstrong confesed (almost) everything and Walsh's statemets revealed true.

He dedicates here pages and pages to summarize everything related with Armstrong, doping and the rest of the american cyclists. It's a fine book, very revealing of cycling's intimacies. On the other hand, I have my own sorrows with Walsh, for he was some kind of a leader in the pursuit of the lies of Armstrong, but a few years later he became a strong defender of Froome and Sky, even when there were a lot of unconvincing aspects, almost as many as there were in 1999 involving Lance.
