 I was gifted this book, and while I really did want to like it, I just couldn't. What started out as a quick read turned into something that was slow to get through. That's not to say it's written poorly. It's not. It has a good message that gets weighed down with far too many little anecdotes that loosely connect to the overall theme: creating impactful moments in people's lives. Anyone in business or education knows this. It goes without saying, and maybe the reason I had to DNF it for now is because I already knew that.

If a book starts to become a chore for me to read, to where I'm dreading it and I'd rather read something else, then it's time to set it aside. Maybe I'll return to it at some later date. Maybe not. For now, it's a DNF for me.
