I’m already a big Felicity Heaton fan. I love her writing style and have read most of her books! Her world-building is amazing. The mix of fantasy and reality captures my attention right from the start. I love her characters. They’re never just good or evil but a complex assortment of positive and negative traits and emotions. It’s this combination and attention to detail that always makes her stories feel more realistic for me.
Keras was worth the wait!
Let me explain. I seem to be drawn to dark, deadly and damaged anti-heroes. Keras is the oldest brother and has the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. His often brusque manner and apparent lack of compassion tempted me even more. I relished getting inside his head and enjoyed seeing a different side of him. Although, his darkness was truly terrifying at times. I was left with doubts about Enyo after the last book. However, she turned out to have all the personality traits that I want from a female protagonist. She’s resilient, intelligent, loyal and strives to fight any injustice.
I really enjoyed this paranormal romance adventure. I read Greek myths when I was younger and love that they’re the inspiration for this series. With Felicity’s usual twist, of course.
Keras was a fantastic read, keeping me hooked from the very first page! It made me smile, cry and feel all hot and bothered (in a good way). I loved the well-written erotic thrills, kick arse fighting, and the romantic gestures sprinkled throughout this book.
My thanks to the author, Felicity Heaton, for the eBook in exchange for a candid review.
