I have this book a 4 mainly because it’s exactly what the author intended it to be. She just wanted to give readers Lily and atlas’s happy ending. Sure she could have made it more juicy but I think i liked the little spin she put on it with the brother be introduced. It could have been more exciting but it was still worth a read.

Honestly when I first started this book I expected to LOVE it but I just didn’t. The themes portrayed throughout this book drive me insane.

1: She needed a man to help her
I get that we’re post to love atlas and he’s like “her savior” and everything. But I just didn’t like him, and I felt like Colleen watered down Lilly’s character development, to fit him in. The entire book is about how hard it truly is to move on, so it’s insane Lilly does it in a month?

(Spoilers) 2: She named her child dory?
This part of the book was NOT talk about enough. I found myself leaning with Ryle. Only for 2.5 until he became unbearable as a character again.

3: Ellen.
I hated how she wrote to Ellen STILL. The fact she’s a mom and a grown women like girl let it go. Also in this book it’s the same entires. Also I didn’t read them or skimmed through them, it was just unnecessary.

In conclusion, I feel like if you LOVED the first book read this one. But if you weren’t in love with the characters or love interest Atlas don’t.  I honestly had to force myself to finish reading this book. Literally nothing happens until 200 pages in.
