Martin Hayes is my all time favourite fiddle player. I was so excited to find out that he had written a memoir and was so eager to get my hands on it. I was not disappointed. I loved reading about his musical journey, and had no idea how long and winding the road had been for him.

This book really motivated me to pick up my fiddle and get back practicing. I'm sure I'll be dipping in about out of it whenever I need some motivation to play.
