This ebook is available free to read on the author's website. It is a sweet follow up to the book [b:Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side|3389671|Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side|Beth Fantaskey|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1231533313s/3389671.jpg|3429537]. After finishing that book, I was hoping there would be a sequel, but this was a pleasant surprise to find.

Basically, as the title suggests this is all about the wedding of Jessica and Lucius. Planning the wedding, trying on dresses, rehearsal dinner, etc. Lots of wedding stuff! It does tie up some loose ends, and gives some closure to their friends and families.

I missed Lucius and his comic relief, we don't get to see his perspective in this short follow up.

But, it was nice to see the story wrapped up, and I think it was awesome for the author to write this novella for her readers!

Cute story. Not a whole lot happened, other than Jessica making up with Mindy and her parents and then getting married. Still, a nice way to let the readers know just what happened between books.

I was thrilled to have even just a little bit more. This short story was a wonderful continuation, and once again left me begging for more. It was nice to see more of Lucius's softer side. I would recommend this to everyone that enjoyed Jessica's Guide.

Wow, this story was just amazing! The only part that I did not like was Jessica's dream. It was kind of confusing to me. The rest was just the right amounts of romantics and realism to make this seem like it could have happened in real life (minus the whole vampire thing). Well worth the read.

This is a short story that links the first and second books. It was on the author's website, so that was nice that it was so easily available. The story itself is pretty good. I liked the more in-depth look it gave of vampire culture in the author's world. It could have easily been a part of one or both of the books, so I don't know how much value it has as a stand alone story but it was cute, easy to read and it keep the story going.

A sweet and at the same time eyeroll-inducing story of the day before and the actual day of the wedding between Antanasia/Jessica and Lucious. Lots of sentimentality and detailed descriptions of feelings (most of which Antanasia could read in Lucious' eyes - enter eyeroll) and even more detailed descriptions of the actual ceremony.

I never did get the fascination the wedding day holds for most women. I get the sentimental value, but all the details and the need to have everything be perfect is just something that I don't get. To me the person is always more important than the flower arrangement - just saying. Apart from that, it was a lovely ceremony and everyone was mushy and weepy enough to satisfy even the most hardcore wedding planner - it was perfect.

Oh, and another thing I have trouble getting in general is the age of the people that decide to marry... I know that in times long past 18 year-olds were considered almost spinsters (I'm talking about the women, of course, since men could do whatever they pleased at any age), but it was a time long ago and people were different back then. Now 18 year-olds have experienced high school and... pretty much that's that. If they're lucky enough to have a steady relationship with someone (or a "high school sweetheart" as I understand is the popular terminology) nothing prevents them from spending a few more years as a couple until they actually get to know themselves and be mature enough to realize what their marriage vows really mean - that way maybe divorces would be fewer. Maybe. Ranting over!

Good for them!

Very cute. A great little inside story. The chapters were extremely short and the writing wasn't the most amazing, but very interesting, nonetheless.
