I'm not really sure what i just read but i know that it is certainly not what i was expecting... Um, I'd say the ending is as perfect as it can be for what it was.. yup. Apparently this is splatterpunk genre?
I don't mind things being like kind of gross but this felt gross just for the sake of being gross like it didn't feel like there was a point outside of Bart just being a vile human being.

This one is something.... and I'm having trouble reviewing it. While the story itself didn't really hit me, the writing was incredible. I was hoping to have a few laughs at this (based on my husband's referral), but none of it made me chuckle. Or get super grossed out.

Bart is a man.... ("that's my red stapler" vibes, in my opinion) who does some disgusting things. And yes, he's gross. And do I want to eat fast food again? Probably not. But I feel like there could have been more substance to this one.

Again, I will emphasize that the writing is great. 1st person, present day, and the author nails it. That's why it gets 3 stars. If I would have liked the product of such wonderful writing, this one might have been a higher star. I will definitely look for more of this author's work.

Listen, bestie, read this book but also don’t read this book. There were so many “wtf’s” being tossed left and right out of my mouth I should’ve washed it out with soap; there were parts I laughed at that made me wonder if I was sane; there were more gasps out loud than telling your MeeMaw dirty jokes at Thanksgiving dinner. Also, I’m never dating again after reading this. Bye.
