I read this book for the House of Humane Letters, "How To Read Literature" class, and it was amazing (both the class and the book)! There are so many good things in this book I can't even talk about them all. The overarching story of a King returning to his kingdom to restore order, and be reunited with his Faithful Bride is so beautiful. I cannot wait to reread this book.

February 2024: This is my second reading of this book and it just keeps getting better (or maybe I am getting better at paying attention). I binged the last few chapters because even though you know what will happen, Homer knows how to tell an exciting story.
