Lynn Rae Harris’ newest series is spectacular. Brett Wheeler is on an assignment at a bachelorette auction where women are really being sold, when he sees Tallulah (Tallie) being auctioned off. He can’t stand back and do nothing so he goes against orders and buys her for a million dollars.

Tallie is a bit suspicious of Brett after what she’s already experienced, but she’s attracted to him. With his cover blown, he takes her on a quick escape from the palazzo his cover owns on a trip through Italy into Germany to lose the people watching them and offering a bounty for Tallie’s return to the sex trafficking ring.

Tallie and Brett are extremely attracted to each other and sparks ignite. The adventure isn’t over once they return to the US. Brett is the next of Black’s Bandits to be domesticated! Lucky Tallie!

I received an ARC and am leaving an independent review. I would have read this book and had the same review regardless of how I got the book. I love Lynn Rae Harris’s writing style and eagerly await each of her new books!

Loved the story and the way that Tallie finds her courage at a time of fear and grabs her man when she found a connection, even if it was unexpected.

What another action filled story!  Suspense and sexy times play a part in here as well. Tallie has quite the stuff happen to her. She is a strong woman to overcome it all. Brett has a tragic past that leads to him meeting Tallie. It was great seeing the boys from BDI. Then there is Natasha. Love the little nod to her. I can’t wait for her story.

I did listen to this on audio. The narration is excellent and really enhance the story.

I have mad love for the Black's Bandits series after only 2 books. First of all we have time with Ian Black. Add in the fact that he has some of the best men working for him, and I'm all in with this book.

Tallie Grant is abducted while on a business trip in France and is put up for auction to the highest bidder. Brett Wheeler is working undercover to try and put the end to a human trafficking operation, when he sees Tallie and knows he has to save her...no matter the cost. I will be honest; I pretty much fell for Brett Wheeler right then and there.

While I hated the way Tallie and Brett met, I absolutely loved their journey together. Brett and Tallie absolutely seemed to get each other pretty much from the beginning. I knew they had each found their person pretty much from the beginning. The suspense elements in this book kept me on the edge of my seat pretty much until the end. I love a book that keeps me guessing when there are elements of suspense and Black Tie did that in spades. Add in the super hot chemistry between Tallie and Brett, and any time we get with Ian Black, and Black Tie was the total package.

Black Tie was like catnip to me. I love a good romantic suspense book, and Lynn Raye Harris does an amazing job each and every time. I highly recommend the Black Bandits series as well as the Hostile Operations series of books to anyone who love romantic suspense books.
