Even cheesier than Beastly, but still really cute. There were stories here that weren't in the first book so it was really nice to see even more of their relationship. Loved reading her point of view, really good.

she really should’ve included this in the original book. seeing things from lindy’s perspective really explains so much and rounds out the story better. you actually get to see moments where they bonded whereas in the original, you see maybe 1 before we’re supposed to believe they fell in love.

cute, but kind of silly. Told in diary style, it gives a little back story on [b:Beastly|544891|Beastly (Beastly, #1)|Alex Flinn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1334260193s/544891.jpg|532177]
I did like that it gave us more history on Kyle and Linda...
and it gave more information on Kendra meddling a little...to help things along
AND it helped explain some of the moments they had.
so I think it added content to the 1st book.

This was... cute, I guess? At first I thought it was going to be exactly the same as Beastly, just told from Lindy's POV. But as it turns out, most of what Lindy writes about is stuff that Adrian skips over in Beastly, like Christmas and a few other things. I think this helps make Beastly more complete because we see their relationship develop a little more. Honestly, instead of this being a separate novella, a lot of these events should have just been included in Beastly. I think this made it a bit of a stronger story. But on its own it was kind of flat, I guess. Lindy still doesn't seem to have much of a personality. I don't know. This helped, but it didn't help THAT much.

This is a nice follow up on the previous "[book:Beastly|544891]", but it's not ny way near as good.
This is basically a collection of scenes from Beastly told in the POV of Lindy mixed into other reflections of Lindys life and thoughts. The diary format is sometimes refreshing and sometimes unnecessary. Still it was fun to read after Beastly.

This was TERRIBLE. It seemed like it was written by someone else and was not edited. Many details didn't match up with the actual Beastly novel and then other times there were cheap and cheesy connections. I would definitely skip over reading this.

Because it's a quick read on Lindy's life, through her own POV and also it work as a novella of Beastly, one of the great fairytale retellings by Alex Flinn. If you stumble on this, read "Beastly" first. It has nothing to do with the movie, which if it was based entirely on the book it would be even greater. :)
