It’s a sad but sweet and thrilling post-apocalyptic story with an absolutely adorable pair of boys. My immediate first reaction was Andrew has a great sense of humor – even when the world is ending. Erik is simply so kind and lovely, they immediately had my heart. Although there were moments I felt “how convenient,” but thank goodness for that because all that was happening to the boys was already killing me.
P.S.: I am so scared about the sequel, I want the boys to be safe and sound!!!

I'm so happy they got their happy ending. I loved everything about this book. EVERYTHING. ANDREW AND JAMIE WERE SO FUCKING ADORABLE OH MY GOODDD. I also want to add that what I loved most was this authors distinct VOICE. He is just such a good storyteller and I can't praise his writing enough. And I usually hate ominous endings, but with this book I didn’t mind it at all. I feel like I’ve gotten everything I needed from this book and it was fucking perfect.
