This book is a short introduction to Newton and it is just that. The book has piqued my interest in Newton's life and I may read more into it in the future.

I have enjoyed this book and have gained new insights into the who Newton was and what he was like. I feel I have gained knowledge about a great man but feel rather unsatisfied in my opinion of him. This is not to say I do not see his contributions as marvellous, more that I feel that I want to attribute almost heroic qualities to a man who was not worthy of them in many ways.

Overall I have enjoyed reading this book. The fact that it is a short introduction means that it is maybe a little too condensed for my liking in places. Still I will aim to read more about Newton in the future whether by specifically reading about him or by association with other areas of physics.
