The only reason that I'm giving this book a low rating is because the beginning was so slow and so drug out. It just was not necessary. About halfway through the book it started to get good. So good in fact that I finished it in one sitting. It was the beginning that took me forever to get through. The book could be better, but for the most part it was okay. I recommend you only read this if you have a lot of patience and time to spare.

I'm unsure what I expected out of this (I barely even read the description, to be perfectly honest) but this was surprisingly different from whatever I was expecting.

It had a lot of conveniences, Caleb's chapters being in the second person really wore thin rather quickly, and the amount of interrupted almost kisses between Saralinda and Caleb got to be ridiculous, but with all that said, this book ended up being pretty fun.

It wasn't the greatest but it managed to surprise me and entertain me for a couple of shifts at work and that's more than I can say for a lot of books.

Some decent parts, but overall very disconnected. 3.5 stars rounded down.

More like 3 and a half stars (I wish we could go by half stars on here). I enjoyed it. The characters were distinct and fun. I could imagine them clearly. I liked the plot but there could have been even more attempts on their lives maybe.

I was hoping to get the Agatha Christie vibe from the book, but it never really reached that point. The story was interesting and the characters worked together. 84

Georgia is a character all her own.

The premise of this was good and I am admittedly not the target audience - I think many people wiuld enjoy this more than I did. Saralinda has a very quirky voice that might resonate with teena more than me. However it did feel outlandish at times, especially cycling to the end where it became difficult to suspend my disbelief. The twist at the end got me though.

Interesting premise. This book was a decent read. It was different with some unusual characters in a crazy situation. But there was something flat about the book. The characters felt detached and the situations were often slightly clinical sounding.
