fantastic
First I have to brag on the narrators! All three of them did an AMAZING JOB!!! Jake’s range and accents are incredible! It was great that that we had Bridget & Kat!!
The story was fun & steamy! I think because I went straight from book 1 to two it felt a little repetitive at times. The entire cast of characters keep the story interesting! I love how involved the family is and the make for good comic relief!!
Thank you PINKFLAMINGOPRODUCTION

I'm turning into a spoiled brat. I was honestly thinking that it's been a while since the first book came out. I just checked and it's been less than a year. It seems that reading a lot of fast writing indie authors is changing my perception of time between books. I'm getting used to getting the sequel within a few months. However, I was quite excited when my arc for this second book came in because the previous one had quite a cliffhanger.
If you have the chance and time I think it's a great idea to re-read the first book in the series before diving into this one. Since we have all new point of views, there are not too many throwaway lines reminding us of everything that has happened in the first book. Since I've read a lot of books ever since reading the first book, I had therefore some trouble reconnecting with the plot and with the world, which is a pity because both are actually quite great.
The authors created a complex world with loads of politics and loads of lives crossing for a reason. In the previous book we already met some of the key players and in this book the authors add a completely new batch of characters, all with their own connection to the bigger story arc. I personally would have loved a little more background, maybe even a few more flashbacks. It's a total compliment that you can tell so much with just a few scenes, but I might have felt it better with a little more.
And the same goes a little for the characters. The authors totally show us how show don't tell should work and yet it somehow felt like I missed a few details, a few personal anecdotes or stories making me feel more connected. We've seen these characters interact, quite often in a sexual way, and yet I would have loved to get to know them better, more personal, more emotional. I think with a few more chapters extra this book could have been even better than it already is.

Tyla and her mates have a lot to work through- uncovering her hidden past, opening up her heart and unlocking her powers.
Tyla, Alaric & the twins are hot together.
We are one step closer to saving Snow Falls & all the shifters.

I think a beta reader could have caught a fair bit of the inconsistencies, but I liked it overall.

bunnerz's review against another edition
DNF at 17% when the men finally get around to explaining their history to Tyla.
I was bored at the glacial slow pacing and the fact that 4 adults were only now talking to each other about how old each of them were and what happened to their parents in the 2nd book of the series. This stuff should have been hashed about in the first book IMO. The other topics that came up and were not my cup of tea were the Daddy kink and hint of M/M between members of the harem.

Ratings - abandoned series:
#1 Seeking Snow Falls: ★★★☆☆
#2 Storming Snow Falls (this book): ★☆☆☆☆ / DNF
