I thought I'd read this really quickly, but the language is so lush that I wanted to take my time. It's a beautiful, poetic memoir about Sossity's childhood and young adulthood. It's intimate and heady, easy to get lost in, and includes gut-wrenching scenes mixed with a story of resilience and strength. It's a lovely story about a queer femme figuring herself out and balancing toughness with tenderness. I highly recommend it!
