This one was a complicated mystery with a victim that no one liked, increasing the number of suspects with every page. While it wasn't a long book (a little over 300 pages) it could have been made shorter by condensing some of the descriptions which got overly detailed at times. While this one was written in the 1990's many of the storylines hit close to home with DV and homelessness being so prevalent in the media at present.
