So this book was recommended because I liked Tom Holt and Jasper Fforde. It seems like it has a humorous pretense -the age of science has ended and we have moved onto the age of magic. However, I did not find the book funny or entertaining or anything other than kind of annoying. I guess I could see how some people would think it was funny, it just didn't appeal to me. Tom Holt and Jasper Fforde it ain't.
